MobileDemand is proud to announce that President and CTO Matt Miller has been appointed by the National Council on Weights & Measures (NCWM) to serve on both the National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) Software Sector and the Multiple Dimension Measuring Device Work Group.
These appointments, originally announced in July 2025, recognize Matt’s deep technical expertise and continued leadership in dimensioning technology, measurement standards, and innovation across warehousing, logistics, and mobile computing.
The National Council on Weights & Measures is a nationally recognized organization that develops standards to ensure fairness and accuracy in commercial measurements used every day across industries such as transportation, retail, agriculture, and logistics.
Its committees and working groups help shape criteria tied to NIST Handbook 44, which establishes specifications, tolerances, and technical requirements for commercial weighing and measuring devices in the United States.
By serving on these groups, Matt will help provide guidance on software evaluation standards and dimensional measuring technologies that impact businesses nationwide.
The xDIM™ Mobile Dimensioning software for standard boxes has an NTEP Certified version meeting applicable requirements of NIST Handbook 44.
This certification reflects an earlier evaluated version of the software and is not the current commercial release.
